Little girls in particular will always be enchanted by fairies,and this pretty-coloured puzzle has plenty going on in the finished picture. This is a large puzzle,approximately 62cms x 42 cms,so is perfect for completing on the floor. It is made from thick,durable recycled board,with just 15 large,chunky pieces,making it perfect for little hands,and the bold,clear illustration is designed to encourage hand-eye co-ordination. The irregular shape makes the puzzle more interesting and a little more challenging,with no corners to find first. As well as putting the puzzle together,there are many ways to enhance the play value by discussing with your child what is going on in the picture. There is an activity guide printed on the box to give you some ideas. Before completing the puzzle,you can ask your child to find a piece with a ladybird on,or with a chimney,or with something yellow on. Once the puzzle is completed,you can talk about the various activities the fairies are doing: Why is the fairy on a ladder? What is the caterpillar eating? How many spiders can you see?
