Trampolines

What gets you fit, will invoke squeals of delight and is sure to be an absolute smash hit with the family for the garden? A trampoline, of course! Garden trampolines have soared in popularity over the last decade. Huge fun for children of all ages — and sneakily popular with adults too — trampolines are an entertaining way to play and to enjoy an active lifestyle at the same time.

What Size Trampoline Do You Need?

At The Toy Store, we stock a wide range of sizes and styles of trampoline. The youngest children can start off with a 4 foot inflatable trampoline featuring their favourite characters. Safe for supervised play, it will get them into the bouncing habit right from the start and is excellent for the development of balance and co-ordination.

We also stock inflatables and bouncy castles. These are perfect for birthday parties or even just some general summer garden fun. They’re also safe for even the smallest of tots, with adult supervision.

Older children will need something bigger. From the age of 3 to 6, we recommend a junior trampoline like the ones made by Plum. These are low to the ground, 7 feet in diameter, and surrounded by a safety enclosure for maximum peace of mind, to keep your little one safe while they learn the skills involved in trampolining. They can just bounce away the day while you go about your business.

A Big Kids' Trampoline

From 7 upwards, and as they grow more acrobatic, kids are ready for a higher, bouncier, bigger trampoline. We stock trampolines from 8 feet to an enormous 14 feet in diameter. Don’t worry, they come with complete with safety surrounds so that your kids can jump around safely on them.

Trampolining is a terrific way to get the kids outdoors and active. Not only that, the activity will build your child’s confidence and courage. As well as the fitness benefits, having a trampoline can also be a very sociable thing. Gathering together round the trampoline will encourage children to learn to take turns and to look out for others. It can also trigger their taste for competition, with competitions to see who can do the most of a particular type of jump or bounce for the longest. In fact, the trampoline can even foster their creativity, as they come up with new jumps and competitions.
