Skylanders Sets

Skylanders is an exciting and engaging game for kids produced by Activision. It takes places in a fascinating realm, filled with magic and floating islands, called Skylands. The first Skylanders game, Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, supported 32 colourful toy characters to capture the imagination and encourage creative play. With the release of the second game, the Skylanders universe expanded by adding eight large figures, eight normal figures, and eight light up figures. As the game became more popular, additional characters were released. The popular character Enigma then made their debut.

Skylanders helps to promote your child’s imagination and communication skills, by combining the perfect blend of video and physical interaction. With the diverse Skylanders sets and packs, children can now see their toys come to life in front of them. By purchasing a Skylander pack of figurines, you may unlock different characters and realms within the video game as the play experience grows in complexity as your child develops. Skylanders game packs are available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and for Tablets.

As there are some small parts included with the toys, the game is not recommended for children under 3 years.

The Skylanders Set

Skylanders sets come in the form of themes to further your child’s experiences and imagination while encouraging creative play. Instead of choosing which characters your child wants, the packs come with select characters and toys already. Some examples of sets that are available are: Darklight Crypt, Dragon’s Peak, Empire of Ice, and Pirate Seas. Each character has unique abilities and powers which your child can use in order to further unlock special moves and superpowers.

The Skylanders Pack

Much like Skylanders sets, packs come complete with predetermined characters. There is a starter pack for each Skylanders game. Over the course of four years, Activision has released three games: Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, Skylanders Giants, and Skylanders Swap Force. There are also a large variety of other packs including Thumpling, Weeruptor, Pet Vac, and a variety of different themed packs called Trap Teams.
